So a day or so after extending for three seasons with The Cards, the unlikeliest story of Palmer QBing arguably The NFL's best team to another rare shot at winning it all comes to an end with his second ACL blowout. Some of you may remember Palmer exiting the game with the same injury on a very early, long TD bomb to Chris Henry against The Steelers in 06 playoffs.
It crushed Cincy's chances of winning that game - and they were easily the better team. Pittsburgh, the lowest seed Wildcard went on to win the Super Bowl.

Palmer came back the next season but was never the same.... Until now..

Sports careers are very fragile. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders, unlike many NFL players, he'll be rich for the rest of his life, and his kids, and his grandkids.

I'm sure there is guaranteed money, and a signing bonus. He'll keep those, no matter what.

I was about to ask the same thing ... will he make any more money since he signed the extention? IF so, then I would count him as lucky lol

No doubt. Who wants to play football, when you can do nothing, and still get paid tremendously? That's a nice little pension plan.
