I would be upset with that hire honestly. He was a DC and that was the weakest part of Atl team.

He had Matt, Roddy, and Julio and only won 1 playoff game.

 

From bringing in talent yea Mike Smith would be great lol

 

He guided that ship wreck after vick and petrino, he isnt a long term option but would get us in the right direction

 

But like I said, my favorite option at this point would be Sean McDermott, but nothing will matter if if we can't get a new GM.

 

But, all atls talent is on o and he's the d guy. Just saying.

How are we going to run the ball anymore effectively than we are, with 2-3 midgets in a running back by committee? I don't recall Pittsburgh running with authority, using scatbacks...when he was their OC. They always had big backs who could beat on a defense.

As for the OL, they may have to swap Poutasi and Bell, and see if Bell can hold down the RT spot the rest of the year. Poutasi should develop into a good OT eventually, but as a rookie he'd probably do better as a OG.
