lol Rod Hood? No, just no. I know you have a massive hard on for Fisher, but don't be stupid.

The biggest reasons are Young, Johnson and the fact that Finnegan and Fuller are healthy and we are not relying on McCorty, Mouton and whatever other scrub was playing when they were injured.

I never said anything remotely close to last year being a product of KC's doing. In fact my post was the opposite. Let's try this again. Jeff Fisher's Titans team went 13-3 IN SPITE of KC, which we all know from you guys how terrible he is. 13-3! With out Vince Young! A franchise best regular season has to impress someone out there. I mean, VY's groupies hang their hat on his regular season record. So, in case you still don't get it and a guy calling himself kdizzle (sounds more like a VY fan than a KC fan going by "Cowpoke") probably doesn't this entire post is about Jeff Fisher and the turncoats that spend every hour putting him down.

Gunny, you messed this post up because Deuce Wayne is as anti-Fisher as the next man. I assume you thought I wrote it and was looking to attack me and I seen where you called me a Douche Bag and that's fine but I'm not interested in a war of words with you because you've proved you have a high football IQ, at least to me which is probably worth nothing but you don't blanket your opinions to be one size fits all. If you look I said the same thing about Hood.

I think I'd agree with you. I believe the Titans will need a change at the head coaching job at some point I just want us to bring in a better coach. If their is no one out there then I don't want to take a risk at an un-tested coach.

Don't get you panties all in a wad. Do you honestly think I agree with Hobbes that kingly authority should never be questioned? I only brought in his idea that it is a huge risk to over throw a king. Not that he shouldn't be over thrown. Did you even try to understand my point or were you to focused and offended I used Hobbes?

I am not arguing that kingly authority should never be questioned or challenged, I believe in a checks and balanced government and I am more of a believer in Lockian principles and ideas. In that the government should be held accountable by the people and if the the government doesn't full fill its contract to the citizenry the people have every right to put in place the authority they want. Locke actually borrowed this contract idea from Hobbe's idea of a social contact and retrofitted it to argue for his view. To extract and ad lib a portion of of Hobbes argument to make a point is by no means advocating for his political view. Hobbes has a lot a views i don't agree with doesn't mean i can't quote him. If I were to quote Aristotle on a portion of his social views to make a point does that mean I agree with his views on women? No.

Lets also stay on topic I'm am talking football here. All I was saying (and sorry if you seemed to have gotten the wrong impression) was that if the Titans are to make a change at the HC spot then we need the right man in mind before we fire the guy. Is Jeff F. a tyrant? Is he the worst football coach ever to coach the game? No. So the guy we bring in has be at least someone who appears to be a better coach, a tested veteran so to speak.

Rod Hood had 3 very key interceptions in 3 of those games.

And with him in- NICK HARPER WAS OUT.

So yes. Very much- ROD HOOD.

.... woooooo!! A NATIONAL POLL, huh?

The same type of poll/voting that gets guys like Bob Sanders to the pro-bowl every year I bet!

Yeah! Fisher does so much with little talent- I mean, what other coach could lose in his first game of the playoffs with 9 probowlers...multiple times?

    Seriously?

Bro, you are the one who chose to use that appallingly bad example that only made sense if you seriously tweak your point of view so narrowly that it can be classified as extreme myopia.

If you wanted to make that point about finding a better replacement for fisher then please do say so. Because you and I agree on that.

But I will say again. Coaching a football team is not as hard as many people make it out to be. Several people on this forum pointed out how stupid it was of us to cut Carr, our proven punt returner and many complained how dumb it was of us to let him go when we more than had enough cap room to keep him here. Many folks expressed concern about going into the season with some completely bogus sham of a special teams crew including Ryan Mouton playing a role he was obviously being forced into.
Many people here were completely stunned when we cut the only kick off man we had on the team only to re-sign the same reject a few weeks later after Jeff Fishers stupid experiments failed.

Many were baffled as to why were were carrying 4 running backs including a completely useless Chris Henry.
Many people were stunned as to why in the hell Collins was still starting 5 games into the season having proven to be absolutely the worse QB in the league.
Many folks called for a change to VY, and while we should give Bud Adams credit for forcing fishers hand in the change (lord knows he is the only one with the power to do so) we cant call Adams decision genius. Any tom fool off the street would have made that change long before fisher did.
Many folks are still wondering why our best redzone option is left to rot away on the bench while CJ bangs his head in futility up some dline mans belly button for minimal gains that were once guaranteed tds only last year.

Many folks are wondering why in the freakin world Nick Harper, the worst corner in the whole NFL (statistically) is still playing corner for us.

Fellas this is not rocket science. There is only one coach league wide who can make this ridiculous plethora of bonehead mistakes and still keep his job..(Yeah fisher better keep cuddling in VY's bossom, that kid has saved his arse yet again)
Lets not act like Jeff Fisher or any other NFL coach is required to split the atom and fix global warming. For crying out loud these men are paid to decide when to kick a field goal , or call a time out! Stop idolizing them as geniuses yet you could write a manual for every single scenario in the game and just win playing the percentages alone!

You could bring back Bum phillips or that pig suey Petrino fella and he would not make such complete bone headed decisions for this team.

(Ok just dont bring freakin kubiak, that is one coach i both love and hate so much, love because he coaches the texans, hate because he is the only coach dumber than jeff fisher in the NFL right now and his stupidity just brings up the bile in me. )
