Can Verner play safety?

I know he is a bit slow but that hasn't limited him at corner and he does the two things our safeties haven't done all season. Cause turnovers and make sure handed tackles.

I'll tell you any idiot DB can play FS, it's the easiest job on the field IMO.

Well Punter is the easiest, but FS is next.

Couldn't be any worse than Babs or Griffin. And like you mentioned at least he can tackle.

Verner could probably play anywhere in the defensive backfield, what makes him great isn't his size or speed, it's his ability to adjust and read QB's.

Maybe when he gets older he'll become a FS. Devin McCourty and Ronde Barbe have done it most recently and had success there.

Moving him to safety would leave 2 holes at CB

Coty Sensabaugh has been good lately, he seems to be solidifying our 3 CB positions.

Why? Because he's all that in a bag of chips and would kill it at safety? Or cause you think he's over rated as a CB?
