Cam Newton the next VY?

I think our defense really turned around once he was in the game. I read it somewhere and don't care to look it up again.

I think it also ties into the rift between Young and Fisher. The team of course prefered Young to be in, regardless if Young deserved/wanted to. Young would probably still be our QB if he had really wanted to be.

I'm sure one of the VY-acolytes will look it up.

Look at the records of the teams Vince won against and the opposing teams score. If you break it down you'll see what I'm saying is correct.

And if Vince was so good at winning, why has he been dumped by 2 other teams?

My point in this I see some things that are difference in Cam Newton versus Vince Young. What is the same is the lack of maturity and committment to WORK to get better each week rather than pouting in frustration. We'll see if Cam can get over it where vince couldn't.

Vince Young was a magician sometimes. Thats what Cam lacks. He is better IMO, but he doesn't have that special something that Vince had.

I've never seen anyone high-five a ref before, that's Vince Young though.
