Just to let you know, Amazon is offering $35.10 trade-in credit for it. They are the BEST for trade-ins. I've dealt with them several times. You don't even pay for shipping. They supply you a pre-paid UPS label. Just print and drop it off at your nearest UPS location.

If you're just looking for cash though, obviously this doesn't help you. If it were PS3 I'd do it in a heartbeat. But I guess if it were PS3 you wouldn't have the RROD right now either. :brow:

I would get it...if it wasn't region locked.

On research it quite possibly might not be region locked...

Yeah Saw, I looked at that. But I figured I would try and sell it to a GoTitans member before sending it to a souless company. Cant really beat 30 bucks. I *JUST* payed 60 for it. QQ

QFT Saw... I really don't think im gonna buy a new xbox. If I cant get this fixed for dirt cheap, I'll grab a ps3 until next gen consoles roll around in a couple years. 3rd xbox I have had. Fking joke.

How long did you have the current xbox for? Was it a refurbed or brand new?

First one I got a few months after they came out. Lasted about 6 months. 2nd was refurb, lasted a good long while. This current one has managed to poop out a year before it went out. It was a refurb, fat white box. The new ones are supposed to be better, but I'll never know.

The disc drive has been wanting to not work for a solid 4 months. I literally sat here for 2 hours after I bought Skyrim trying to get it to read the disc before it finally did. Did the same with my other games. I bought BF2 on XBL, dl'd to drive and that worked fine... until rrod.

    I applaud your character. Seriously.

I would love to be able to be an Xbox fanboy. It's a nice console and there are some great exclusives. Maybe I've just had bad luck but it's been nothing but problems with Xbox. And not just the 360.

My original Xbox frequently froze right from the get-go. Had to return it for a new one. Then the 360 came along and I got one of those. Red Ring of Death. I sent it back. They "fixed" it and shipped it back to me. Not a month later, RRoG AGAIN. Sent it back and called them. They refused to give me a new Xbox even though it had failed twice in a matter of weeks. I didn't even bother to try anymore. Just told myself "Well, never buying an Xbox ever again" and moved on.

I'm more PS than XBox, but I've had both original and 360 and never had a problem with either (except a rare freeze on the 360), but granted they weren't used as frequently as the PS2/3.

There was a time where I would hold every time I turned the 360 on though, fearing RROD.
