  1. Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck doesn't believe in the Madden jinx.

But he does believe in quarterback Vince Young, who this week was named as the cover player for the popular video game. Some players who appeared on past covers were seemingly cursed.

"We can't have a jinx, not if we're going where I hope we're going,'' Bulluck said.

Bulluck said Young went a long way in proving himself last season, when he was named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year after guiding the Titans to six straight wins late in the year and nearly into the playoffs.

The pressure won't necessarily be on Young this fall, Bulluck said.

"Now it is on his teammates on his side of the ball to help him elevate his game,'' Bulluck said. "They got rid of two of his biggest weapons in Travis Henry and Drew Bennett and we haven't done anything to replace them, so the guys we have now, that is a message to them.

"They have to be ready so step up and help Vince out. A lot is going to be on them.''

The Titans will add some offense in next weekend's NFL Draft, but Bulluck said he's not sure that will provide the team with everything it needs.

"I don't really know what is left out there now as far as (veterans). It seems like anybody we maybe could have gotten before is pretty much off the shelf," said Bulluck, who is heading toward his eighth season.

"We still have the draft, but as years have gone on, I've learned you can't really count on rookies too much — that is what we have been doing. And we still have young guys who are going to be in position to help us.

"All I know is we are going to have to have some young guys step up now, because I don't have 10 years to wait.''

The first chance he gets, he'll leave this team. And I don't blame him. You can only be that aggravated for so long without the team putting no effort whatsoever forth in resolving the issues. I don't think he has any faith in our staff.

And people here call this guy a leader? As good as he is, he should just keep his mouth shut. We need leaders on this team, not whiners. If you wanna shake up the troops, do it in the locker room, not in the media.. :irked:

Maybe he's not reading the site. But if he was, he'd know Cheif Red Hat is the devil....or maybe a killer bunny....that all should run away from.
