SUMMARY: Keith Bulluck and Kyle Vanden Bosch are considered day-to-day with their injuries. Titans Coach Jeff Fisher said he is "looking at the situation very closely" with KVB who has been dealing with a groin injury but stopped short of ruling the Pro Bowl defensive end out of Sunday's game at Chicago. Keith Bulluck, who injured his ribs Sunday against the Packers, will also be monitored day-to-day. Vanden Bosch started against the Packers then pulled himself out of the game after being unable to handle sharp, lateral movements and quick stops.

At this point, I rest KVB and tell him he's out until the Jags at the earliest. The Titans must have him in January.

Yeah, athletes know their bodies but I feel KVB is the kind of player who'll push until he does something which ends his season.

KVB needs to test the injury a little better before the games. How can you think you are fine to play and then pull yourself out after 3 plays? He's not helping anyone taking up a roster spot for a handfull of plays while risking further injury to himself.

I agree with Jeff on this one, you HAVE to sit KVB. We are obviously a playoff team, so we need him when the going gets tough. Let the rookies get their snaps in...

  5. This is a critical coaching decision as it relates to our success in the postseason. Groin issues are often nasty issues, and I did not see this as a quick turnaround after Kansas City. I realize much of today's professional salaries/bonuses relate to reaching specific goals related to regular season play but team success outweighs all that when you have a chance for the brass ring.

It's completely asinine for this to continue. I said when he first got hurt he needed 6 good weeks of rest, and he's just been pushing it and pushing it the last 3. He could have been really ready to come back by now, instead of trying to keep everyone's hopes up. You can't "Non-Stop" your way through these kinds of injuries, you know, KVB. I'm pissed. It means we need Jacob Ford to duplicate his GB performance every week until KVB returns. Hopefully, Ball continues to be in the rotation as well. Ford, Kearse and Hayes is a little light in the @$$ at D-End.

I'd put Jason Jones or Tony Brown on the outside everyone once in a while. Let one of those guys play end from time to time.

If KVB doesn't get back in a few weeks, I would not be shocked to see Jones out there in running situations.

You could always keep AH at DE, the guy just absolutely collapses the right side of the line when hes out there. Sometimes i rather watch him line up outside then inside
