every guy is different. Chad Johnson fell of the planet around 30, he's not a "big" guy like what youre talking about but some guys lose it right at 30 or so..
I would not invest in any 30 year olds...

Johnson wasn't as physical. When your game is boxing people out, that isn't as quick to go as agility and speed. Didn't he also lose Palmer around that time?

I don't know anything about the contract stuff and what he would cost.

When does this team do anything logical.

No the team isn't going anywhere, which is why I joking put a post asking if a coach would be included in the trade.

I don't think any player could help this team.

One positive i see is he could help with the development of DGB. Hunter is soft and nothing is helping that. The threat of him on the field may help our offense, just like the Randy Moss trade. Oh never mind he stood on the sideline.

Do I care one bit if the get him or not? Nope!

Were those guys paid like this?

    2016[IMG]31 $15,950,000 signing bonus $3,200,000
    2017[IMG]32 $16,500,000 bonus $4,000,000
    2018[IMG]33 $17,000,000
    2019[IMG]34 $18,250,000

Plus the amount of assets you have to part with to get them? Boldin was a steal in many ways in his trade.

yea his contract is insane, I dont even think QB's should be paid that high, maybe the Bradys and Rodgers are worth 16-17Mil a year but a WR??? Thats crazy

Over 18 million per year at age 34... comedic. Why would any other team want to foot the bill for Detroit's mistake?
He would have to be 2007 Randy Moss to be worth that kind of money, and just our luck... we're fresh out of Tom Bradies.

na no WR should even be sniffing that kind of money, thats crippling to any teams cap.

Even Mike Wallace at $12M is insane for me to deal with...

IMO the top flight WR's are worth $10M tops,

The Jets with Marshall are doing it right, Packers with nelson another good deal, Cobb with the packers pushing it but still within range... $11M for Fitzgerald, little high but not entirely out of the park... I just dont see how you justify paying one single guy 10% of your cap... Unless he's the QB

It's a mistake however you look at it. They're going to have to end up cutting him, because nobody should be foolish enough to take that on. I understand that you want to keep your stars happy, but you shouldn't hamstring your team in the process.
