I hope he is the OC
etch - a - sketch : the new playbook of the browns, developing plays 1 play at a time courtesy of Lowgains! I am so happy this guy is not going to be on our sidelines.
Just about every coach from last year took a demotion except Gregg Williams.... Sounds about right!
Yeah, it's called the bottom of the barrell
There's no way that this is a worse move for him than being unemployed. It's NFL experience. Every long-time coach has some bad stops. But you have to take what you can get.
You could be right. For Dowell's sake I hope you are. Will be hard to get another job in the NFL if he fails in Cleveland.
Just saw on PFT that he's "very likely" to be QBs coach. Which if true would officially mean our former HC and coordinators are all back to being position coaches.
We all know CJ is going to the Rams!!
and many of our position coaches are now in the NCAA or unemployed.
This former staff may be the worst case of a homegrown-underqualified coaching staff in history. It is shameful. Out of all the good years BA ran a franchise... this was the last coaching staff he saw ruddering his franchise.
A monkey with a list of potential NFL coaching candidates and a sharpie could have come up with a better coaching staff.
100 percent confident.
Any random algorithm of selecting coordinators and head coach would have come up with an equal or better result.
Boy how pissed will everyone be if we somehow got 11 wins next year with little roster turn over?
