    Dumb move by the Browns.

And its very similar to our situation.

The Browns have been playing surprisingly well-- as have the Titans for anyone that ISNT a Titans fan.

Wins don't always tell the whole story.

To some extent, I agree with this.

Ryan Fitztragic is terrible. Schwenke was banged up most of the year. That TE was got from the Cows was hurt all year. Greene was hurt early on. And worst of all, Locker was hurt.

Are we in the playoffs if Locker doesn't get hurt? I know he wasn't playing too well against the Faguars when he got hurt, but I honestly believe that if Locker started all 16 games we would have been in the playoffs this year. Maybe even have had the AFC South.

That said, Munchies DID fire our ST and LB coaches last year, when last year those were our ONLY good points. This year, those positions were our biggest WEAKNESSES. It was a stupid move my Munch and it gives me little confidence in his ability to manage his staff. A few different special teams/LB outcomes and we're 9-7 and in the playoffs.

So right now, I'm neutral on Munchies. We did play better and we were closer to the playoffs than I think most of you realize, but at the same time close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, and Munchak did make some horrible staff decisions. Oh, and he got beat by the winless Faguars, at home, which was just terrible. And we were one of TWO teams the Cows beat. TWO! Bah!

I doubt Munchak is gone though. If Bud was alive he would be for sure, because Bud was in a panic about winning a SB before he died, but I don't think Smith is, and he's likely more inclined to see what happens next season before moving on.

They didn't mention the part about assistants walking in on him doing blow in his office?

That probably had something to do with it.

Last 4 coaches fired in the AFCN was Browns coaches. Nice to know, that how bad the Titans organization might be, there's still worse places to be (Browns, Lions).

Was about to say bring him in as OC but who in their right mind would come here with no longterm stability? Guys don't hitch their wagons to a HC who could be gone within a year.
