Brown's 26-yard FG miss could be a killer

Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky HOUSTON -- Kris Brown's wide-left miss of a 26 yard field goal late in the third quarter could really come back to bite the Texans.

It was his shortest miss since a 25 yarder on Sept. 30, 2007 at Atlanta.

The fourth quarter is about to start and the Texans are clinging to a 10-9 lead.

The air in Reliant Stadium just feels like it's carrying doubt because of lost opportunities the Texans have had to pull away.

Houston did just force a three-and-out and should get the ball back in a good spot.
