Brown to start w/ White!!!????!?!?!?

Henry's going to have to do more than just flash a few signs in order to bump semi-proven backs out of his way. On his longest run last sunday, he kept his eyes straight in front of him, not even looking for extra yards, which makes me believe even more that his 'eyes closed' running style hasn't changed.

 

I agree I believe Henry should get some more carries. He did look good so why not give this kid a chance?

 

Yeah I too forget that we ARE 5th in the league for rushing as a team. ( and only 4.5 yds out of being 3rd )

 

Henry needs to be part of the gameplan. He's faster than either Brown or Lendale, and runs with as much or more power than Brown.

I'm not saying anyone should be benched. I see Brown as the most well-rounded of the three. Lendale is money in short yardage. Henry would be a great change-of-pace back with a lot of upside, and would be deadly on screen passes.

There's plenty of room for all three in the offense, and each has aa little something different for defenses to defend. Work Henry in on special teams to justify his spot on the gameday roster, and let him get some experience.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it will come in handy when the postseason rolls around.

 

We'll be able to tell where our run game is at with White and Brown this Sunday. Oakland is 29th against the run and is averaging 140 yards so someone on Tennessee SHOULD have a big game, wether that be White, Brown, Henry or Young.

 

Until Henry learns to block (and shows consistency in the run game), Brown will be given the nod

 

If Henry does get more carries, who will get less. LW and Brown can carry the load when healthy.

 

Brown is fine with me.
