If nothing else newbe we have by far better WRs than the ICOU and Brown is not our #1 back. He will be our back up just as he was the ICOUs last season.

I do like how Y'all are counting on a broken down one legged Crumpled to be your go to, VY saving TE, but Brown is called Christine. If you guys had a clue this board wouldn't be near as fun though.

Hey champ, why don't you learn how to spell first. It is newbie...not newbe. How do you know if he won't be the number 1 back? Ahman Green will probably get hurt getting out of bed. One legged crumpler? Your QB can't even keep his A** off the grass when playing us. As far as us not having a clue on this board, well you have to come here since no one else is on your board because your team sucks.

Maybe a slight exaggeration, but he averaged 4.5 ypc last season. That is a very, very good average. Especially when compared to someone like say... LenDale (who many here might slip into the top 15 or 20 backs), who ran behind the same line that he did and averaged significantly less.

I'm sorry, but "MAYBE" a slight exaggeration??

Yeah, maybe so. Christie looked like an all-pro against Jax the first week, when they gameplanned their whole D to spy on Vince. After week one, eh not so much outta christie.

So you are saying that since the NFL figured out during that first game that Vince wasn't a threat the other teams could key on the run game in all the games after that?

Really, Chris Brown had a career game and Jacksonville's defensive plan was horrible for that game.

I think Vince was trying to prove to himself, the team, the NFL, the media, everyone that he could be a great passer and not just a great runner. Unfortunately, he failed at that.

After the Bucs game, I don't think Vince could run like he did in 2006. That's one reason I think Vince will have a much better year this season, he will regain the mobility with an offseason of rest from injury.

    Have fun with Christie!

You know, that's what Arizona said about KVB when we signed him. The difference between KVB and Chris Brown is, KVB played great football prior to having knee problems. Chris Brown never had a good year.
I'm not sure where you heard that Crumpler was our go-to-guy. We do utilize TEs in different roles, but our only TE go-to-guy was Wycheck and for obvious reasons. We picked up Crumpler because we need help at TE. Troupe never panned out and 2 others signed else where.

Your new/old OC has historically used the TE alot.

Your QB dumps the ball off alot.

    You have no #1 WR.

Yea, you're right. We should just throw out all of the weeks that he did good and look at the rest of the games. Using his "average" isn't very objective. Silly me.
