Wide receiver Kenny Britt isn’t back to full strength, but he’s clearly moving in the right direction. He played 19 snaps against the Chargers in his first game in almost a year. He got 34 snaps during Wednesday’s practice, according to offensive coordinator Chris Palmer.

Coach Mike Munchak said there would be no snap limitations for Britt against the Lions on Sunday, but there would be some route restrictions.

“We’re conscious of certain routes that would put a stress on that leg,” Palmer said, “and we try to keep them to a minimum, and to continue to build and give him routes that he’s comfortable with.”

Britt played primarily in the slot last week. Expect that to change against the Lions as well.

“He’s good inside, good outside,” Palmer said. “You just try to move him around where you’re looking for a matchup where you gain an advantage.”

How is running in a straight line any different than any other pass play Palmer draws up?

LOL. Well some routes require more cutting than others. But pretty dumb to tell Detroit he wont try any flags or stopNgo routes. Or maybe its a dirty trick theyre pulling. Make it seem as if he cant cut, then BOOM, a 60-yard bomb for a TD.

That better be what they are doing. It would be pretty real dumb to tell the other team that your best WR won't be cutting at all. It will sure make it easy on the DBs in coverage when they know what route KB is running evertime.

I think you are giving this coaching staff to much credit. They aren't that clever.
