Britt unsure what future holds

No way at this point you can make excuses for this guy. He gets paid to play and obviously the coaching staff thinks differently by only putting him on the field for 2 snaps a game. That is why when we announced we would trade him for cheap, 31 other teams wanted none of it.

 

I don't think anyone is questioning his physical talent. It's all between the ears with that guy. But regardless of whether it's physical or mental, the dude flat out sucks right now.

 

Ok Im going on record saying we need to just cut Kenny Britt today.

Any time the guy is on the field he blows the play. Cortland Finnegan's interception on Locker could have easily gone different if any other Titan was targeted. Kenny Britt quits on half the routes he runs, and he does not attack the football the way ALL our players do. Even Colin Mooney snatches the football out of the air, Colin Freaking Mooney is a better pass catcher right now than Kenny Britt. How pathetic.

I want Britt out, he contributes nothing to this team, and with Preston on the practice squad I want Kenny out to make room for Preston, I really think that guy needs to be included in our plans moving forwards.

Lets face it, trading Britt can't happen now, and its highly unlikely he signs a big contract anywhere, the comp pick will never become anything, so why keep him?

 

Clearly it's no secret I think he sucks balls. That said, we might as well hold onto him at this point. Just don't let him see the field unless a 3rd/4th receiver needs a breather. However, he should be at the top of the list of players to cut if there's an injury and we need to bring in another FA.

 

He can't be counted on anymore, he's lost his mojo. How can he play if he's not even finishing his routes??

 

Can we please just cut Britt? He's just not worth a roster spot anymore. I'd rather have Hunter getting additional snaps than wasting any on Britt.

 

I don't entirely disagree. Still I think we should probably just hold on to him for the time being. As long as he's no better than our 5th receiver I'm okay with that.

 

Yup, me too. Britt is stealing valuable reps in practice from Hunter.

 

But yet Munch seems to be trying to get him involved still. Very Fisher-esque.
