    <em>Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky</em> <p>NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Jeff Fisher and the Titans won't offer their review of a failed ending to what could have been a dream season until Monday.</p> <p>In the meantime, we dive into the very thorough review of the Titans' Saturday failures offered by Jason Paradise of ESPN Stats & Information.</p> <p>Here's a look at key offensive stuff. We'll be back in a bit with a few things from the defensive story.</p> <p>The Ravens gave up 281 passing yards to Titans quarterback <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=734" target="_new">Kerry Collins</a>. But Collins was far more effective on first and second down than he was on third and fourth. Overall the Titans averaged 6 yards per play on first and second down and 3.7 yards per play on third and fourth.</p> <p> <table border="0" align="center"> <tr> <td> <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="350" bgcolor="#c0c0c0"> <tr> <td> <table border="0" cellspacing="1" width="100%"> <tr> <td colspan="3" bgcolor="#005b00"><font face="Verdana" size="1" color="#ffffff"><strong>Colins by down</strong> </font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#e6e6e6"></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#e6e6e6"><font face="Verdana" size="1"><strong>1st & 2nd</strong></font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#e6e6e6"><font face="Verdana" size="1"><strong>3rd & 4th</strong></font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff"><strong><font face="Verdana" size="1">Comp.-Att.</font></strong></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">20-28</font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">6-14</font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff"><strong><font face="Verdana" size="1">Pass Yards</font></strong></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">231</font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">50</font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff"><strong><font face="Verdana" size="1">TD-INT</font></strong></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">0-0</font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1"> 0-1</font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff"><strong><font face="Verdana" size="1">First downs</font></strong></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">12</font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">14</font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff"><strong><font face="Verdana" size="1">Rating</font></strong></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">96.0</font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">22.9</font></td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </p> <p>Baltimore is known for its blitzing defense and forced Collins' one interception on a blitz. He was far more effective when the Ravens rushed three or four than when they brought extra defenders.</p> <p> <table border="0" align="center"> <tr> <td> <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="350" bgcolor="#c0c0c0"> <tr> <td> <table border="0" cellspacing="1" width="100%"> <tr> <td colspan="3" bgcolor="#005b00"><font face="Verdana" size="1" color="#ffffff"><strong>Colins vs. Ravens' pass rushers</strong> </font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#e6e6e6"></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#e6e6e6"><font face="Verdana" size="1"><strong>Four or less</strong></font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#e6e6e6"><font face="Verdana" size="1"><strong>Five or more</strong></font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff"><strong><font face="Verdana" size="1">Comp.-Att.</font></strong></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">18-28</font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">8-14</font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff"><strong><font face="Verdana" size="1">Pass Yards</font></strong></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">175</font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">106</font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff"><strong><font face="Verdana" size="1">TD-INT</font></strong></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">0-0</font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1"> 0-1</font></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#ffffff"><strong><font face="Verdana" size="1">Rating</font></strong></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">81.7</font></td> <td align="center" bgcolor="#ffffff"><font face="Verdana" size="1">51.5</font></td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </p> <p>Collins was not very effective on longer passes either -- he completed just five of 13 passes of over 10 yards for 86 yards, an interception and a 29.6 passer rating. Big plays told the story as they often do -- Baltimore's <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11252" target="_new">Joe Flacco</a> was four-of-11 on throws of over 10 yards, but got 118 yards, a touchdown and put up a passer rating of 107.4.</p> <p><strong>TITANS WERE EN-GAGED</strong></p> <p><a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=4601" target="_new">Justin Gage</a> was excellent for Tennessee but had little help, particularly once running back <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11258" target="_new">Chris Johnson</a> -- a receiving threat -- left the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury. He had 10 receptions for 135 yards with eight first downs. He almost trumped the rest of his team, which had 16 receptions for 146 yards and an equal eight first downs. Gage had the advantage in average, with 13.5 yards per catch compared to 9.1 for the rest of the team.<br /> </p>
