We would be seriously better off bringing back KFC or VY than going out and signing Weeden. Hell we would be better off letting Bironas take the snaps since he is our team MVP and all. The guy cant play QB and he was old when they drafted him coming off a burnt out shoulder in the MLB....

Brandon Weeden probably throws the best intermediate pass in all the NFL.

I read an article a while back about how during Peyton's QB camp, he asked BW to come in and help show kids perfect form because Peyton doesn't think his is as good as Weeden's.

DW agrees. Thread over, Titans bringing Weeden in. You Locker jock riders.. YOU'RE OUT.

I said as it stands. On the field, so far.. he is worse than VY. Off the field is a different story, and one I did not mention in this discussion- because Locker is there better man in life.

    Ugh...

-He's already like 30 and you can compare his age to other QB's in the NFL but at least they're proven and some of those guys have actually won Super Bowls...saying Weeden is around the same age as Tom Brady as a counterpoint is silly.

-Why give up on Locker already? Him and Munch are tied together. If one goes then the other goes as well, pretty simple. If Locker does well then that means Munch's job is probably safe, meaning playoffs. Why would he bring in a 30 year old whose stats were just as bad? Why would Munch bring in more uncertainty?

-Worst cast? Locker had no OL in the final weeks, Britt doing Britt things, and Locker had a bad shoulder. Who succeeds in that situation?

-I can understand giving up on Locker and wanting to bring in a proven guy so we can speed up the process of better QB play but all this does is put a band aid on the problem if Locker doesn't develop any further. If we're going to make a QB change then I rather throw money at Flacco, trade for Mallett, or go for a QB early. This is the Titans make or break year, either we make the playoffs or we rebuild with another staff and QB. Weeden, again, does not fit into this plan. Give me Locker for another year and figure out if he's the guy or not instead of this.

You make some valid points. However, Flacco is going absolutely nowhere. He will be a Raven. The only point I am trying to get across is Weeden played better than Locker with, YES, a worse team. If we decided to man up and do the WRIGHT(uc?) thing, then Weeden is the obvious decision as he can most likely be grabbed in a deal favoring us by far. Does that mean he isn't a good Qb? I don't believe so. The Browns HAVE NO CHOICE but to pray for some second coming of Brady for their horrific team to have any chance at being a contender.

I say if we bring Weeden in, and fix the D via the draft.. we make the playoffs. I just don't think Locker has that in him.
