But seriously I am against signing him for the most part. Too much money... and we still need to focus on improving the front 7 before we can make moves like this.

He should go to a contending team or a team at desperate need of a starting CB. We are desperate for CB depth - not another starter.

That said, I wouldn't complain if we signed him.

 

He was let go because they are going to a man scheme, he excels in zone.

 

I see. I thought KC was running a man scheme even before last year, guess not.

 

That is just going by what I have heard Chiefs say. The reason they let two of their corners go is because they don't fit their system. They want tall, physical corners.

 

Chiefs are falling back to reality this season. 7-9 or 8-8 at best.

We should beat them week 1.

They lost EVERYONE in the offseason and now Flowers.

 

Should we? Maybe.

Could we? Absolutely.

I've been watching them on nfl rewind, nothing too special going on there with KC. We can stop their O and beat their D if we just run hard and tackle.

 

Titans almost outplayed them on both last year... honestly, if not for that stupid penalty...

And this team SUCKED last year.

The first 3-4 games this team was really good... the decline after could be described as a downward spiral into irrelevance.

Average that together and you're right, we weren't really bad... but we were a bad team.

 

We lost a lot, but we didn't suck.

Stayed in almost every game til the end outside of 2.
