Sorry GoT, but Craig Stevens is no beast of a blocker. He's just alright.

Idk why Alex hates Stevens. I don't think I've ever yelled at the tv at Stevens. he's always pleasantly surprising me

    It's not Stevens personally.

It is the 3rd round pick to draft him and the abundance of fan love that I do not comprehend.

But even our offensive coordinator said he's the kind of guy a lot of teams are searching for. He wasn't a reach like SenDerrick Marks, and Chris Henry. Plus, unlike those other guys I mentioned, Stevens can actually play.

Stevens is a blocker only, he is not a receiver. Don't believe me then just look at his stats both in college and pro's and it confirms it.

For some reason people think he is Lorenzo Neal/ Jason Witten and he's not.

The 3rd round pick would be more acceptable had we not used a 2nd round pick on Cook the next season. I am opposed to drafting multiple TEs with high draft picks.

I like to think of Stevens as an Erron Kinney mixed with a Steve Largent. Not the most athletic player, but a big bodied target (Kinney) who wont let you down (Largent).

You don't yell at him on TV because he's never on it.

Dude shows up for a catch like once every 3 games.

    3rd round pick. Still stings.

Oh yeah- that's another one I got right while people argued with me. Just saying.

I was thinking more of a mix of Anthony Munoz and Jerry Rice, with Peyton Manning's preparation and Barry Sanders's agility.
