He definitely took it to another level in NO but I certainly wouldn't call his time in SD mediocre. I think the talent was always there. But in SD it was clearly the LT show while NO was much of an air an out, spread the ball around style offense.

He was not mediocre at all. If not for his significant injury that year, he would have been a Dolphin, and probably Culpepper would have been a saint, and NFL history would have been changed. He was just a risk with his shoulder injury. There was no doubt that he was a good QB. But nobody could have predicted that he would have gotten that much better.

He was not mediocre. That class with Culpepper and Brees was the best QB free agent class in a long time. Turned out that Culpepper was the one that was past his prime.
Not very often that two legit starting NFL QBs hit the market in one offseason. Dolphins just picked the wrong guy, and they've never recovered.

Belichick has produced many flop head coaches. Crennell, fat Charlie Weis, McDaniels has shown himself to be a horrible decision maker when given the reigns.
People like McD and Whisenhunt need to have someone over them, keep them corralled.

McDaniels would be a huge risk since he's already failed. I would think they'd swing for an up and comer, instead.. If they're going to hire someone other than MM.

Gase is the future! Gase 2016

Jackson would be fun too. Maybe McDaniels but only if he gets 0 GM power, he tore apart that Broncos team trying to run it like the Patriots.

Either way the new coach needs to keep this 3-4 defense here, we just put the pieces in place it would suck to revert again.

Will evaluate Mularky on how we play the next few games. hes been fine but I don't think its worth missing out on Gase for.

Yup and Saban would probably be the one considered a good NFL head coach while Sean Payton would of gotten fired and would be a OC somewhere right now.

Bruh, you really need to learn to express your feelings. Keeping them all bottled up isn't just bad for you, it's bad for everyone involved.

    So.. Smugness and bounty gate.

You don't want a top 5 coach in the NFL for, basically no reason.

How many more 2 or 3 win seasons to before you would be willing to quit waiting for football Jesus and actually hire a good coach?
