Hawaii sucks now. Not the team or system they used to be.
Their offense looked pretty good against USC until their QB got taken out. But I agree they look worse on defense from when June Jones was there, and there defense was never that great. But they've had a few players drafted, obviously, we've got one of them but not many as of late.
The QB they had against USC looked good but it's been awhile since they had a Colt Brennan or Timmy Chang who could just kill secondaries. We'll see with this Bryant Moniz guy can do.
Wonder how long it has been since a national champion had a total of two wins against top 25 teams.
Erick, you might want to remove all of your "It Sucks". For that matter, you might want to delete this thread altogether.
... or maybe just 1.
Oh... and I wonder who would be favored between Boise State and James Madison? It would have to be the Dukes wouldn't it?
I gotta stop.
1 good first week and youre crowing them champs? they almost lose that big lead.
yes, hilarious indeed
So yeah how bout them Hokies?
Guys... be fair.
Look at it a bit deeper. Football is a game built on emotion and momentum. Virginia Tech's season ended in week 1. They're crushed. They're not going to be a threat because they have absolutely nothing to play for. So you have to look at a loss today a bit objectively. Or at least justifiable.
Typically the high ranked team that drops that week 1 loss seems to always crash and burn. For obvious reasons. Which is why the BCS sucks. One loss and there's no reason to even try anymore.
This is why big programs schedule a bunch of crap OOC opponents and no away game OOC opponents. You're penalized for playing good teams early.
