We're rewarding Boise St for what they've done in the past 2 even 3 years ago. They played an overrated VT team and then play Oregon St then they cruise through the rest. If they struggle even a little after the Oregon St game I don't think they should be in it. Going back to tOSU they did look good and so did Pryor but I like to see QB's string together a couple good starts against good teams before I say a Heisman hopeful or going to have a great season.

Funny how when a team loses to Boise State, they suddenly become overrated.

If it was easy to go undefeated in a non-bcs conference, you'd think more teams would have done it. Yet nobody ever does. I do believe if you go undefeated you earned it no matter what conference you are in. Boise St earned the right to better recruits, and therefor at the current time they have the upperhand in their conference. That's no different than the upperhand USC has in their conference. But the level of competition still makes it difficult to go undefeated in the smaller conferences. I can't tell you how many times I thought a team should run the table, and they never do. So if you do undefeated, there is no question in my mind that you belong there.

I have a strong feeling that Boise State will be upset this year. Which wont help all the talkers. They're actually a good team and worth of a top 5 spot.

The thing people forget is that while their conference may be weak, per say, that doesn't mean that every team isn't giving 110%. Deuce is right because I can go ahead and tell you that Fresno State is going to give Boise some problems. Fresno has produced some damn good football players and they know the Broncos better than anyone.

It's kinda like when the Titans sucked for a few years... We still played the Colts really well, even if Manning was having a good year and we weren't.

Conference rivalry games can often result in upsets because the teams know each other so well. It really wouldn't surprise me if they lost a shootout game or on a crazy fluke play and it would be unfortunate but I think the likely hood is small. Boise State is all upper classmen who seem to be some of the best coached players in the country. Where as an SEC team may have more RAW talent, boise state has been beating these big time programs by simply using diamond in the rough players who play at their maximum potential because the coaching around them is so good. Boise executes precisely and there aren't many college teams that execute as well them. Many college teams rely on brute strength and if you play that way against Boise, you'll be down by 17 in the 2nd quarter.

Funny how they're ranked near the top 10 every year but have to fight to make it back to the top 20 at the end of the year.

    I feel bad for Wyoming...

Also, Boise State Hawaii will be a good match up.
