Can't argue with SEC being the best over the past few years. Only argument you can make is that 2 loss LSU team who still won it all.

To the guys who want a playoff system give me the plan, because all the ones I've heard so far have been pretty much crap. If you're going to change college football you can't sum that up in a sentence.

 

Pretty sure Alex is a UT fan.. so.. it hasn't exactly done us in any favors in a while.. but keep hatin'.

 

Hate to wax political here, but this crap has no business getting "dragged in front of Congress". There are more important issues that they have to worry about besides steroids in Baseball, or whether College Football is "amateur" enough IMO.

Oh I agree but you know that is how these things go sometimes.

 

I have a friend that coaches on the college level. We were talking about early season and pre-season rankings. It's really not important where you start, it's where you finish. Too early to start bragging, a lot of teams are 1 and 0 now and nobody plays national contenders every week.
Everybody gets to be somebodies b**ch eventually.

 

^But if you start outside that 25, you're not making it to the championship game more than likely.

Which is utter BS because almost all the teams in the top 10 are there unjustifiably. Just random favoritism.

 

^Yep. That's the cycle. Hell, Georgia has been ranked top 10 waay too many times lately and for what? They've sucked for the longest.
