    Eddy, the reason is simply that he's noticeable. And weren't most the products basically his? On his show he kept saying "my product".
    So I guess if they're his product, of course he himself is going to sell them.

    His power was in his shoe-polished beard.

    Folks wonder why I don't appear in the NFL Talk forum much during off-season.... it's because those threads usually turn just as silly as this one, and equally as fast, and everyone is twice as serious about them.

    None of that conflicts with him working hard. And I said it earlier in the thread as well...

    It's still silly to think that it's all of one and not at least some of both. He clearly worked hard at what he did, and you've admitted that it would take hard work to do it. However, not anyone could work hard and do it. He was good at what he did, and he worked hard at it. You may not want to do what he did, you may think that what he did was corny, but he was good at it, and it was effective, which is why he was paid so well for it.
