Big Ben named as defendant in lawsuit (AP)

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by a woman in Nevada. According to online court records, a defamation lawsuit was filed in Washoe County on Friday. Andrea McNulty is listed as the plaintiff. Details of the suit were not available late Monday night.

I hope this guy didn't get into some stuff like this. Or do I? As a Titans fan I hope he misses game 1, but as a regular guy I hate seeing this happen to Ben Roethlisberger. He seems cool and down to earth, but who knows nowadays. Plus I have to look at him daily in my Madden fantasy franchise. So hopefully he's clean. I never thought McNair could be killed, never thought about Donte Stallworth running someone over, and surely didn't spend .01 seconds thinking Ben Roethlisberger could be a suspect of a sexual crime. Only time will tell.
