    Galliopi-A very good Australian war film about the conflict against the Turks during ww1. Lawrence of Arabia is about the Arabian side of the war but few films depict the British side of the war there. The casualties were insane.

    Love Generation Kill! Very well done on a small budget. Also loved Restrepo. Had not considered it for my list as it was a documentary. Should have though. Very good watch.

    If you have any interest in the Korean War, "Tae Guk Gi" is a pretty good movie.

    If we're talking war films but not involved directly war related, I'd say The Great Dictator and Life is Beautiful.

    Both WW2 based movies, though not with the fighting.
