For some reason, Universal is doing virtually nothing to advertise this movie and it is supposed to be really good. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm planning to.

This is only my opinion but the Mrs & I walked out after about an hour of the movie. I felt it was a good idea that was badly executed.

Clive Owen has the charisma of a 2 x 4 & we were simply bored to tears. It has the look of a low budget 80's BBC sci-fi production.

Again this is only my opinion & I'm sure plenty of people disagree with me.

Wow...same as "The Good Shepherd". It just goes to show that if a movie has to post raves in it's advertising, it must suck.

Actually the raves weren't from it's advertising. That YouTube clip was made by a fan.

Even though this critic loved the movie,he concedes it's something of an art house flick & will have a limited audience.

Reading the book by PD James right now. I'll catch this on DVD most likely, it's playing nowhere in my area.
