Bernard Pollard looks horrible

not entirely. The first one was his and cotys fault and the second one was his and mccourtys fault.

 

Pollard plants his feet 7-yards from Hester, who's fault is that? He did a nice job staying square, but he needs to attack and not sit on his heels.

 

And McCourty needs to do a better job of not getting beat badly by a simple route from a scrub WR.

 

I mean it's actually quite funny watching it. McCourty got his ankles broke on that route lmao.

 

It was bad, and even worse when his teammates gets beat too.

 

JC, if that's the logic, Griffin blew a tackle on the Julio TD because of a poor angle too. I think it's harder to judge him on the Hester play, Hester never had to break stride, that's how poor of a job JMac did which setup whichever guy was behind for failure.

 

It doesn't matter that the pass rush never got there, it doesn't matter that McCourty fell out of his shoes, this thread is about Pollard shady tackling last week. He was in perfect position to finish the plays, but he did not.
