I look at it like this he has showed he improved a ton I was one of the fans after the Melt down who said he was a bust. He prove me wrong and showed me that he was willing to work hard. He has talent to be a great Qb to me it's depends on how hard he will work for it. He has Never had the talent he has know with Cj and Britt.

A mediocre starting NFL QB is so much better than the hater rants of the last few years.

More offense talent than VY has ever worked with going into next season, too bad about our defense.

Granted, it's an improvement. For the sake of the Titans team, after 4 years it's time to put up once and for all. Show his maturity, be consistent, earn his stripes and his paycheck. I'm not sold like others here that he's a messiah or will ever become more just mediocre. I suppose we'll know by the end of the year if he deserves to be more than an alternate pro-bowl QB. Capable, perhaps...we'll see. I still think we need to draft a QB this year, just in case.

That's about where I am with Vince.. He did a fantastic job of coming back from the depths of quitting-dom the year before to showing that he wants it. This year is the year he needs to blow up.. That said, since Vince has been a Titan, the team's best season was the one Kerry Collins started 15 games...

That was the year we had top 5 defense with Big Al we won't be that good of TEAM for a while we are rebuilding now. You seen what happened in the 0-6 start we couldn't stop anyone one and KC wasn't looking that great.

Remember Vince was considered a 3 year project...

The 09 & 08 Ds weren't all that different.. KVB and Albert both missed games in 09 that TN won.
If The Titans stay healthy they are the 2nd best team in the AFCS. Indy should hope they stay healthy as well.. 0-6 was flat out due to the secondary not KFC.
Vince has to start. No way around that, but he also needs to build on last year.

I'm just saying you guys way jumped the gun and were overboard in negativity with comparisons to Akili Smith, etc.

I think this team can win a superbowl with Vince, but it has to be a complete team. I don't think he could make as much difference as Peyton or Brees, but extremely few do.

I'm excited to see how he does the season. But I think he's our starter for the next several seasons unless injury or he's abysmal (which seems very unlikely). I no longer think it's "make or break" for Vince.

Overboard? Perhaps, but I think he had earned it. He definitely improved his game last season though. His deep ball especially improved, instead of always throwing punts like Flacco. His performance against Arizona was amazing.
