I hope Munch steps down. Assuming this happens at seasons end and not sooner. The guy is a class act, and has done everything he could for this organization. My knee jerk reaction was to be mad at Munch for the product he has put on the field, but he wasn't nearly qualified in the first place. I appreciate Bud for what he has done in the NFL, but he set us back when he promoted Munch. For everyones sake, I hope he steps down and possibly asks for his position as an OL coach back, as I would still like him to stay with the franchise.

Lesson learned, don't force fairy tales. If Munch was meant to have been a head coach, we would have known sooner.

Why would he step down? Just willingly give up $3 million. He's a bad head coach, but he's not Kevin Malone-stupid.

well the guy is going to be cut regardless, I am sure they can work out some sort of deal that keeps him around. At this point in his career though he might just be more about saving face than $, he probably has kept some around.

No way he'd want to stay here as an O-line coach. At least I wouldn't. People have been calling him a dumb ass for three years. Every time the O-line did something wrong it would be the same thing. All he wants is to be an anonymous offensive line coach.

Not gonna happen. Munch is a lot of things (mainly an awful, turd of a head coach) but I don't think "quitter" is one of them.

who keeps spreading these awful rumors then?

I view it more like pulling up your pants after someone pantsed you.

I think Munch truly believe in his heart that he can still "right the ship".
