Yea that does suck. He had a lot of upside and Chicago thought they could bring it out and I believe they could have. RIP GAINES

 

Bears DE Adams dies at 26 (AP)

Gaines Adams, a defensive lineman for the Chicago Bears who was an all-American at Clemson, died Sunday in South Carolina, the Bears said. He was 26. The team said Adams died Sunday morning at Self Regional Hospital in his hometown of Greenwood, S.C. "We are stunned and saddened by the news of Gaines' passing," the Bears said in a statement.

He died of a heart attack at 26. Thats crazy.

 

My uncle also died of a heart attack when he was 26.

 

Wow so young. So unfortunate.

 

you'd be surprised how often that happens. it's not as rare as you'd think, especially with men.

 

So sad for this to happen, especially at such a young age. RIP Gaines.

 

ESPN stated he had an enlarged heart.
