Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky
INDIANAPOLIS -- Chris Simms is interested in the Bears. Dewayne Robertson would love to join the Titans if they lose Albert Haynesworth.

Well, duh.

Beware of such stories between now and free agency.

Of course Simms is interested in Chicago. He's a quarterback looking for a job. He's interested in any team that's looking for help at the position. If he had been asked about Detroit, Kansas City, the Jets or Minnesota, he would have given the same upbeat answer and it wouldn't mean much about the potential for him to land in any of those destinations.

Robertson is out of work, cut by the Broncos. It would be big news if he said he isn't interested in some potential opportunity. It's completely predictable that he's attracted to the Titans or any other team that could use defensive tackle help.

I'm wary of stories like those, and we're going to see a lot more of them in the next week. Let's keep them in context.
