I hear that. However, better chance of getting Scott to accept a backup role than Urlacher. Who probably still thinks he is a star. Scott is probably a little more realistic.

Can this get any more ridiculous? No, no, no, no and no. The guy will want to start, isn't worth the money and we don't need him. Even if McCarthy can't play we play nickel 60% of the time and Brown and Ayers are out there. We just need to see if we can find anther guy like McCarthy from our 3rd comp (if we get that) or later.

My goodness, start a thread on signing a FA we actually need.
What about Pauk Kruger or Anthony Spencer as a DE for us?
    How about a SS?

There are otehr FAs besides guys that have been cut.......right?

Urlacher might not be the same player he was a few years ago but he certainly isn't going to be backing up McCarthy or anyone else in this league right now. He is still a very good player.

It's only starting, so yes, it will get more ridiculous around here.

    We cover every possibility here.

If you don't like it crawl back over to Titanscenterfield of whatever the hell that corny site is called and argue with wg53

True. Would love it if our front office has the guts to pull the trigger.

Oh and another thing, it would be stupid not to look at cut players, they don't count against comp picks in the draft.

You're better off signing cut players than UFA & RFA

    OMG WHY???

The only big name players we should even be talking about are Levitre, Bowe, DRC and possibly Byrd.

But all this Asomugha, Welker, Jennings, Reed, Woodson, etc. talk is insane.

I disagree. I think its fun to at least ask the question. It's better than the pigeon worthy threads we were getting for awhile.
