Yeah, makes sense. That's probably why there are so many Chiefs fans in Dallas.

Doesn't matter if Chiefs fans are in Dallas, it's the fact they
atleast stayed loyal to the Chiefs, I don't care what location
your in. you can be a fan of someone outside your state as
long as you stick with that team. the minute you cross that
line no turning back. you are what unions in america call SCABS
your traitors you failed to stick with your union brothers, and
most importantly failed at any loyalty towards the union. you
basicly sold out to the man. and bye doing what he did is the
same thing. He could have hung tough and joined the true
Oilers fans in Tennesse, I see nothing wrong with being a
Tennesse Titans fan. I'm sure many fans in Houston who
cheered for the Oilers when Earl Campbell played, crossed
over and became Titans fans. so no excuse as to why he
    couldn't do the same

I'm through taking up for the cowpoke. It's different when your hometeam town forsakes you and moves away. If the Giants move it's just to NJ or something... New Jersey is a New York burb anyways. Seriously, go start a thread posing the question, "Will Mario Williams ever get a sack" or "Is Williams a bust if he doesn't sack Culpepper?" add a pole to it. This circular bs is just dumb. We keep making the same point over and over. It's like watching Wimbleton or the U.S. Open.

Bipolar you never took up for me in the first place dude, it's
done, this guy is a bandwagoner and nothing more, he leaves
one team to go be a fan of another, it's pretty clear this guy
has no leg to stand on what so ever

I'd venture to guess there are zero Chiefs fans left in Dallas who stuck with the team when they moved in 1963. I think you should go look for some old pro football fans around Dallas and give them sh*t for dumping on the Chiefs. I can't believe anyone who lived in Dallas between 60 and 63 ever became a Cowboys fan. How ludicrous!! Everyone knows they were all Chiefs fans back in the day. You mean to tell me that when Lamar skipped town you people didn't follow him?? Traitors.

Your union analogy is ridiculous also. Nobody is getting paid any benefits here. We're not talking about retirement funds or health plans. In my book "company yes man" is a derogatory term, but if that's what you want to be, do it to it. Just don't expect anyone else to agree.

no duh! Cowpoke is my little pet name for Overalls. I call him Cowpoke. You are Tex. When have I ever addressed you as Cowpoke? Took up for you. :ha: I was defending against you... Don't worry Tex, there is plenty I like about you man, it's just that seeing the circumstances of Cowpoke's coversion, and the fact that the ENTIRE fan base almost is comprised of drafted fans... Are the Texans allowed to have fans? OK. Fresh.... I can debate that with you... I can debate some really stupid **** in fact. I once debated that Tennessee is a state to Overalls' assertion that Tennessee is not a real state. I don't care if you make Overalls mad or whatever, it's not like we are good pals or anything. Most of the time he's just a pest, but I must admit since I've started batting here in this thread I've seen some non-troll posts. I don't care if he stops being a troll or not, it's just that your argument, if I applied it to myself and others who LIVE here in Tennessee... man, geography is a BIG factor. I guess we were all a bunch of TENNheads before the Titans came to town. :bs: Honestly dude, I'd just rather watch you stop spinning your wheels here and go frag Mario Williams for being a sackless bust. I'd rather spend my posting time laughing at Texans draft "misgivings" past and present.

Anyone that bandwagon hops from the Giants to the Cowboys in the early/mid nineties (or ever) needs have have his ball sack removed. If it was a woman she should be mandated to have a hysterectomy. I think the preservation of football tradition is ready for genocide.:wink2:

I started watching NFL in 2000 (the season after the SB loss). Does that make me a bandwagoner?
My 2 pals turned to the Rams and the Packers. It's some amazing arguments we have now. It has gone from "Which team is the best" into "Which teams sucks the least".

My favorite soccer team, has finally made into the Danish Premier League this season. This has resulted in the worst start by any team ever, losing the first 9 matches and finally achieved a draw in the 10th match. Wauw, 1 point in 10 matches in a season that lasts for 33 matches.
Why do I keep cheering for this team? - It's from my hometown, It will always be a part of me. Both when they suck big time and when they again will rise and be the superior (riiiight) team and kick some serious butt.

But back to the Titans. Why did I "choose" them? It's pretty obviously. It was a great team. Had a decent offense, with some tough players and a killer defense. They won a lot of games, made the playoffs nearly every year. They were full of succes.

Nobody likes a ****ty team. If you don't have any relations with an always losing team, why support it?

I think american sports is the only place, where teams/franchises are moved around. But would I follow, if my ****ty soccer team was moved? - I'm not sure. If the organisation is changed, then the heart and soul of that team is changed and it's a new team. My relations to the team will be gone and I would have no feelings for it.
But, if the organisation is kept and it's just moved for stadium reasons or whatever, then I'll most likely contiunue to cheer for 'em. Even if they still suck.

Location means nothing when it comes to being a fan, why should anyone
limite them selves to one area. and then claim if you are not in that area
then you can't be a fan of that team? that is why I am saying it's not
about location. It's about dedication and loyalty, claiming you cheer for
this 1 team in paticular, go out buy anything that has they're name on
it and then all of a sudden. say oh I am a fan of a new team, If that
was my self I'd support the franchise and owner, because that is who
I am loyal to. and being a fan means sometimes I may not like what is
going on, Or I may not like the fact the owner is moving the team, but
they are my team and I swore to stand bye them 100%, and that is
what I am gonna do, stand bye my team, Regardless of any situation

that is why you have a bandwagon fan base in Houstink now, and lets
look at who makes up that bandwagon, Dallas haters who we all know
are the epitome of all things lower then low, which includes the e-girls
and casts of others, jealous idiots who've never seen they're team win a
championship. and then you have the rejects from the old Oilers fan base
which decided we'll stay with cheering for no team in Houstink for 5 years
then all of a sudden they're Texturds fans. so it's easy to see how the
current Houstink Texturds fan base is made up of bandwagon fans

It only sounds like a broken record because it's the truth, If location was
as important as you make it out to be, then people could only be fans of
teams in certain areas. what I am saying is if you are a fan of a team then
you stand bye that team, just because the team is up and moving to a new
state. Doesn't mean you can just up and abandon it, you swore to be loyal
and die hard to that team. and lets face it the Titans are still the Oilers no
no matter what. new city, new stadium, new uniforms, new players, but it
is still the Oilers no matter how you look at them
