http://ps3.ign.com/articles/855/855206p2.html The controls sound as sweet as the game looks. Everything looks better than madden. Except for the no real teams thing. Heres to finally getting a quality football game and EA buying the engine. Common EA nobody likes the crap animation glitch fest you put out every year. We all still buy it, but deep down we don't want to! Even if I just reserved my copy of 09! Bring on Backbreaker and please don't suck.

They should just try to make it as close to the nfl teams as possible without testing lawsuits. Like, the Kansas Indians, Tennessee Spartans, etc. And make the names like Prince Young, Ladanian Tomisson, etc.

"You're right – if you want, you can play Backbreaker sprinting all the time. However, we're employing a very sophisticated animation system that replicates real athletes at high fidelity. This means that expert players can exploit the increased mobility that lower speeds bring – or even confuse an attacking opponent by slowing down, and suddenly speeding off at an angle."

there's something that will be exploited in about a month.
