As if we needed more bad news.

    http://blogs.tennessean.com/titans/2011/01/19/washburn-decision-impacts-babin/

"It would be hard for me not to contemplate it if he said, 'Jason, I want you in Philly.'"

If Babin leaves our D-Line will certainly be much weaker. I think resigning him this offseason should be a top priority for the Titans front office, but Washburn's departure certainly seems to have thrown a wrench into that plan.

Well looks like our starting DEs are Derrick Morgan and ________. Normally, i'd say a no-name 4th rounder, that Wash makes into a decent player... but yeah.

He can go to Philly, where he sucked before and will probably suck again. He's a product of the system and he knows it.

Who gives a crap? The guy's a true idiot anyway.

    The Redskin game proved that.

His hit on Rivers (SD) was dirty too.

Sick of these guys losing us games.

Its not a good sign that Washburn is leaving. We used to not have to worry about our Dline position. Even with bad scheming Washburn was able to put a band-aid on the defense.

For you posters saying its no big deal, do you ever think about if there are other players who just haven't come to the media who want to jump ship?

He jut had the best season he'll ever have. Even so his sacks barely offset his penalties.

    I hope he goes elsewhere.

    Players come & go.

People who think we're going to fall to 1-15 because of JIM WASHBURN leaving, are waaaaaay way over-reacting, IMO. 90% of this board wanted Fish fired. All of these coaches would have been gone anyway if that were the case. So what's it matter? Just WHAT have we ever won?

I'm not Fisher's biggest fan, but let's keep things in perspective here. We're gonna field a team, & we're gonna have coaches. It's the NFL. Have a lil faith.

I'd rather BE 1-15 than 6-10 to be honest. Just an opinion.

Let Babin go back to the Eagles if he wants, saves us $2-3M. Dave Ball & Jason Babin will never again have the seasons they just had in 2010. Morgan and Ford are my preferred pair of DE's anyways. Hayes and his bull-rush can now fit into the plans.

Yup.....and people have been calling for a coaching shake-up for while.

OK people, they're shaking up the coaches.......and you still complain? Get a grip..... Washburn was a good coach, but 31 other teams managed to find a d-line coach too. It's not like our D-Line has been stellar the past few years anyway. Sure, a few decent individual performances, but all in all we have been bad since AH left.
