Heard Babin on ESPN radio this afternoon talking about his release. He just went on and on about how he was a hard worker and it shows on his tape and some team will pick him up blah blah blah ...


Then Hugh Douglas (former Eagle DE) comes on immediately after they played the Babin interview and absolutely tore him apart. Saying that he quit on the team and deserved to be cut and things like that.

LOL people only talked trashed about Babin after he left Tennessee, this is a dumb move IMO, yeah he sucks at run support, but the bottom line is he does have 6 sacks on the year, and could be useful as a bench player, someone they bring in on third and long, and they could have easily cut some filler that was never gonna get any playing time regardless of who got hurt.

Sure he's worth it as a specialist pass rusher but I'm glad we didn't give him that big contract based off one good year when dude had already been in the league for a good while. He's one of the most one dimensional players in the league, if he doesn't get a sack/pressure on that play, he's a liability to that play.
