Available QB's???

Gradkowski has played on a lot of really bad teams. Comparing his record to Orton is pretty unfair. Orton was with the Bears (a solid franchise), the Broncos (uhhh.).

Gradkowski was with the bucs when they were rebuilding.. and then the raiders. Those aren't very quality teams.

Gradkowski seems like a decent QB, shows pretty good pocket presence and what not. Find it hard to believe he'll ever be anything more than a serviceable backup though.

 

I think Orton is the best bet because he might be the cheapest. I think some fans don't want him because of what he said about the Titans after the Denver game. But the guy did have over 3500 passing yards this past year without even playing in every game.

 

RollTide, name me 3 QBs on the OP's list that are better than Gradkowski.

I agree with playing Rusty, it makes sense if you think about it. Our staff saw alot of potential in him during the season. Give him a shot and see what he has and if it turns out bad it just may be "luck"y for us. If he plays good then we could possibly have our answer already set to go.

Why bring in a QB who can't win a championship?

We already let go of a QB who was a winner. I guess that wasn't enough though...

And before the "it sucks" begin...think about it...

I am so surprised that I saw Rusty Smith named twice as a potential starter for next season lol thats terrible.. there are a few good options all better than Rusty .. I do not think that next seasons starter will be someone who isnt with the team now..

I would be happy with Bruce Gradkowski but draft a young QB

 

What's up with all these posts about why get a QB who can win a championship? It's free agency none of them can and if a team wants to trade a QB they probably can't either.

More than likely we're not winning it next year this is just a patch until we get a franchise QB.
