All hail DW, defender for those football coaches that cover up child molestation for years!
Joe told campus security, then let Sandusky come and go whenever he wanted, and then moved on with his day. Sandusky happily admitted to bringing 10 year old boys with him to the locker room and showering with them, Joe knew. That's as effective as doing nothing, we aren't closed-minded because we aren't defending someone that knew of child molestation and turned a blind eye.
Of course Joe didn't want to believe it, but he did and didn't want an investigation because he was thinking about Penn State football.
Going to disagree on that. The fact Sandusky was still taking groups of kids to bowl games on PSU's dime well after Joe was aware of the allegations is telling. To be honest, JoePa had no more dignity than any other coach in the country (and honestly maybe less considering this type of situation at least isnt know to have happened in other places). He cared about the reputation of his program other than actually doing what was right. It is funny, that Tressell and JoePa were also held up as these torchbearers of how you coach college athletics the right way. Tressell was corrupt as **** from a rules violation standpoint, and Paterno turned a blind eye to a situation that was far worse than NCAA rules violations.
This has language and is NSWF. But, my favorite comedian giving his take of the Penn State situation.
No, I just try to be a bit more understanding and don't let emotion rule my judgment when not near enough is known to pass it.
WHen kids are getting raped, and someone in a position of authority hears about it, and doesnt stop it, how much understanding are you honestly asking for? Paterno was a piece of ****, done and done, that conversation is over unless you are in denial.
It's just DW being DW, playing Devil's Advocate even if it means defending someone that try to cover up child molestation, DW agrees with everything negative we've said about Paterno. Or at least I hope that's the case, if DW is genuinely siding with Paterno, he's the only one along with those idiotic Penn State fans that started that riot, and I would lose a lot of respect for him as a human being, but I think DW feels the same way we do about Paterno and just pretending to defend him to get a reaction.
Oh so your stupid then? All you needed to say really. Cause you'd have to be a mental midget to think JoPa is in anyway innocent in all this.
Nah he just has to defend the Big10 because he is a loser conference fan.
BIG 10 BIG 10 BIG 10 RAPE CHILDREN RAPE CHILDREN RAPE CHILDREN
I'm not genuinely siding with him. I'm not taking a stance one way or the other (*regarding Paterno) because I'm not a judge nor do I have near enough info to pretend to know. (unlike others)
Claiming I think he was delusional about it isn't really the "devil's advocate" stance you guys are make it out to be.
But... you guys know the whole story, have followed the case day in and out, I'm sure. So continue persecuting a dead guy that we know was a good citizen for almost the entirety of his life.
I'm a Michigan fan. I hate Penn State.
So Alex, you're REALLY stretching. As a fan of a team IN the Big 10... We have rivals. Remember that? Google the word if you need to.
