Didn't a few around here throw the "bust" word at Smith after last season?

If ever a guy suffered through a crap rookie season it was Smith, he seems to have come out the other end the better for it. I wonder if this season there might be a rookie QB on similarly bad team who could also benefit from playing (despite the lumps he'd take).

  7. you mean to tell me a team that is 1-1 led by a qb starter is better than a team 0-2 not led by a 2nd stringer, if there is even a 2nd stringer that has an 0-2 record.

would you want VY or alex smith on YOUR team? hands down , i would pick VY.

vick is no VY, he has had 5 yrs to be himself and has been pretty good, but once VY gets into the groove, LOOK OUT.

No I said Alex Smith is better then Vince Young at this stage.

At this stage Alex Smith would give us a better chance of winning.

    Vick is himself.

From limited amount of time he had played VY has looked to be a passer first.
