at least harper can tackle, right?

I'm glad we picked up Harper... I'm excited to see how he plays opposite of Jones ( if he comes back ). Add in Griffin starting at FS, paired up with Hope... we'll be solid for a long time.

 

Let's just pray that it'll be Finnegan opposite of Jones rather than Harper taking a better player's spot.

 

I would put Finnegan back into the nickle slot ( he would dominate in my opinion ) and keep Harper outside opposite of Jones.

 

He can tackle, left. Too.

 

Yeah but Finnegan has been borderline lock-down at times playing OUTSIDE, where Harper has been barely average in coverage. I think the choice on who goes inside is fairly logical and it fits Harper's needs. He lacks size, speed, and ball skills, but can tackle and play the run very well. Gee, sounds ideal for an inside nickel spot to me...
