What evidence do you have to think that it is going to be changed? It is insane to believe that, seeing what we've seen from Gray over the last couple years that it's going to change once the season starts.

Cuz I think Williams will have his way more than just blitzes.

I see it like this right now. Let gray run his scheme and prove that it doesn't work. Gives Williams, munch and so forth the ammunition to call him on it. Change it and give Williams more input/power/control.

I don't see how we brought in Williams for him to not take control of that defense. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with that approach. At the end of the day, Williams is our only real option. The thing I don't get though is why not make Williams the D-coodinator and Gray the assistant or whatever they want to call it?

We don't have that cut throat patriot approach. And it hurts us. If we could ever lure anyone from the belichick coaching/scouting/operations line, we would be so much more ahead.

Well we need to start thinking with a "cut throat" approach then. I'm tired of only picking coaches that once played for the Titans or promote totally unproven coordinators. Great example we could have tried to get Norv Turner as O-coordinator instead we pick Loggains? Sorry, but that is what is wrong with this organization in a nutshell.

I don't mind the loggains promote. Mainly cuz he has a long list of success and drive and motivation and actually his offense has looked good. He's revived our run game already. But yes. We are still soft

I hear what you're saying but there is no way in hell Loggains is a better offensive mind than Norv Turner. He blows as a head coach, granted, but as an offensive mind he's always been terrific.

Take a deep breath and think "what are the coaches looking for in a preseason game"?

Gray/Williams isn't going to stack the box or do much scheming because they are needing to evaluate individual players. They need to know if Sammie Hill, Martin, Klug, Mookie Johnson or Pitoitua can win some one-on-one battles. Based on what I saw, the Titans still lack a DT who can consistently be a force against the run. Casey has his moments but, last night, most everyone else was pushed around.

In a real game, Gray/Williams scheme to slow the run. Last night wasn't about that.

No one should be evaluating coaching in a preseason game when the goal isn't necessarily winning the game.

That's funny because its the same thing EVERY YEAR with some of you guys. Its pre-season, its only the first game, its only the first half of the season, our defense is young, our kicker will make the crunch kick.

GARBAGE!!!!! Besides our line on offense and our running backs (Johnson, Greene, and Battle) this team is under average. Britt looks slow, the defense cannot tackle or put themselves in the right position to save their life. Campbell is nothing. I hear all camp how our CBs are playing bump in run coverage but on 3rd and 5 no one is within 7 yards of the receivers. This team has all the makings of a decent offense scoring team that is 4-12 or best 6-10. So yea, little more than just pre-season.

CAN WE FIND A NEW KICKER, MY GOSH, THOSE KICKS WERENT EVEN CLOSE.

Well, Norv was great in Dallas................ when he had Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith, Michael Irvin and the best O-line ever.
