    Limited Gamestop Edition
(this took some work to get, but was worth it)

they have a list of games that you can trade in to get the standard version for $19.99 ! in case you haven't picked this up yet (some of them are easy and cheap to replace fwiw)

this is the large statue of Enzio that comes with the LE, this thing is probably 3 times as large as the Altair that came in the 'I' collectors tin. for reference, if you stood a game case beside it it would come to his shoulders.

I've just jumped into the game so I can't comment much on it yet, but so far I can tell the free-run is improved as is grabbing an enemy. more later......

Bought this as well as left 4 dead 2 today. haven't played it yet but after reading review after review it seems to improve greatly on assassin's creed which was great. Can't wait to dig my teeth into this

Couldn't get into the first. I still have it but really need to give it a shot.

AC2 is low on my list of needs right now.

    Reviews were good though.

man ....... this thing starts out NOTHING like ac1
no searching for -- to do ..... it has a steady pace

the best part is, I have yet to see a single horse!

I am just now starting to work with DaVinci .... I hope the relationship works into a big partnership . I think I got an hour in last night .... and 'synched' maybe a dozen or so missions + 8-10 viewpoints

Ezio is quite different than Altair. there's some humor and some attitude. and you learn to be an assassin gradually.... it's still to early to tell. but this game feels like one I'll beat in about 40 hours (i like to take my time) ..... sit on the shelf a few months .... then I'll pick it back up - the city(s) feel alive like that

I've heard it's a lot better then AC and I heard the complaints about AC. I'm still fence sitting about it. I might wait until it drops in price.

It took me a long time to get into AC, but once I did, there was a lot of fun inside it. I was glad I took the time to understand the game. But the game had a lot of flaws too like drowning. And of course the whole plot was strange as all get out and made no sense.

I will probably play AC2 just because when you are really flying around it's quite fun, and some of the assassinations were fun. I just hope they pull it together.

    Top of my list:
    Left 4 dead 2
    The Dragon game
    Fifa 10
    COD 2

    Ezio can swim

and I wonder if the story would have been better if it was just set in the past instead of the animus, but then you would just die instead of reset

even with all the repetition and so on, I was hooked on AC1. I can't quite put my finger on it .... perhaps it was the world itself

this time the world feels even more alive. and as expansive and detailed as it is, it's a beautiful display.

so far, all I'm getting is plot, and it's pretty good - much better this time around. looking forward to some time off to just get absorbed in it
