Good luck with this.. I'm sure they're going to track down these guys, I'm sure some anonymous online BS threats will be #1 on their priority list.

She just wants to scare them. I'd really be surprised if they go after these people.

Same old song and dance.. Celebrities put their opinions online, and expect the world of online jerk punks to be super-friendly.
You'd think people would learn. The public, as a group, won't change.. the individual has to learn to act logically.

If they start prosecuting from semi-anonymous tweets from a different part of the country.. then a lot of people are going to jail.. But I'd be surprised. Civil suits won't do anything, because she's got way more money than these hillbilly internet trolls who probably don't have 100 dollars to their name.

 

I actually agree with her doing this. It is getting way out of hand. Literally look at any tweet anyone famous ever makes. People really need to get a life and stop being ridiculous on social media. Some people need to be made an example out of. Its not necessary. Are people really THAT mad at her? It amazes me how many people do this or who are just mean to everyone just to be mean. Its sad really, get a life.

I think it's dumb but still happy she's doing this. A lot of dumb people on the internet who think they actually matter or think they're master trolls.

 

Of course these angry trolls are pathetic losers. Twitter is about 70 percent pathetic losers. Considering this, any celebrity who is on twitter, or especially the ones who decide to rant and rave on it, are the easiest of targets.

This topic has been discussed a million times.. and the only solution is for celebrities to get themselves out of such stupid situations, or be prepared to host the world's most hideous and immature insults known to man. It's obvious that it comes with the territory nowadays. She didn't ask for the verbal abuse she got, but in today's society, you have to be proactive to not get harassed. No amount of suing she does will change the tide of the internet, and peoples' actions.

Twitter sucks, and most of the people on Twitter also suck.

death/rape threats need to be taken more seriously. either via legal or suspension of services. **** is already a plague, and is only going to get worse.

Isn't the type of speech that should be protected, IMO.

 

While I don't think its right the way people think they can just say whatever they want on social media, I also feel it's just the nature of the beast, unfortunately. If you are a high profile figure and you're gonna have a Twitter account, you need to have a thick skin.

If "go suck on Cal's 2inch dik" is what's being considered "threats of sexual violence", then I say get a life.
