    Finnegan is involved in most plays. Asante Samuel isn't.





    And no, he's not better in coverage. He's a better ball-hawk. Big difference.

    Samuel was overpaid coming from the Pats. a 3rd is too much to pay for him now. I won't be mad if we got hi, but I also won't expect much. Our defense depends almost entirely on how good our front 7 is. It's almost always been that way.

    Recent 3rd round Titans picks. I'd say those panned out. I wouldn't trade ANY of them one for one for Samuel - seriously.

    I know Mouton, Curran and some others were nightmares, but all of those were under Fisher. Munchak HIT on his 3rd round picks last year.

    The stats on Samuel look good because he gets plenty INT's, he's a ballhawk, I'll give him that, but he's an AWFUL tackler (and the Titans tend to like good tackling corners). And I'm not even worried about his contract, he'd restructure of course.

    So no, I wouldn't be OK with trading a 3rd for Samuel. A 4th, sure.
