I honestly don't think many players care about where they have to play. It's all about money, and the situation they are stepping into.

I think so too. At least with Wells. He lives here and went to school in Tennessee, and he ends up signing with St. Louis???

Wouldn't be first choice, but it's not a bad city. Plus, if you can afford to leave as much as NFL players can, it wouldn't be a bad place to work.

Then you have the no luxury tax advantage... which more than makes up for the city being a bit bland.

no luxury tax? You mean no state income tax, right?

Still crying about Nashville and TN I see. I'm sure you are still living here too. Pathetic.

So let's pretend I am a free agent right now.

I'd love to play in just about any city where the fans are passionate and show up to support the team. But I'd prefer somewhere with nice weather, and a high standard.

So for me cross off Buffalo (cold & team sucks), Chicago (cold), Denver (cold), New England (cold + coach is a creep), Cleveland (so many reasons), Cincinnati (lots of reason) Green Bay (cold), Minnesota (cold), and Seattle (cold).

New York is basically my home team since I'm minutes outside Manhattan, so I'd make an exception for either of those clubs.

As a kid from TN, it would be a dream come true if the Titans called when I became a free agent. Forget about the cost of living and other perks the city has to offer, I'd sign for the vet minimum if I could be a Titan, especially with Munchak running things.

You like punk, right? Nashville has one of the most up and coming punk scenes in the nation.
