I wonder if the Dolphins, Broncos, Cardinals, or 49ers will jump in on this deal..

Make this trade happen. We would have a sick 3 CB rotation and it's a conditional 3rd, not absolute the pick would be that high.

Guess I'll need a new sig though...

Lol! I love not watching the board for a couple of days then turning back around and now something's happening. The whole Watched Pot thing (never boils).

If it's conditional and we can restructure and put off the pick another year since this draft is deep, certainly through the third, yeah, I can get down with that.

Thanks RSB and Gut for the angle.

I bet the Titans were eyeing this move for a while. I got the impression Eagles fans saw it coming for a while. At least we shouldn't get any worse in the secondary, and we've already stepped up both lines. Then we can use the draft to build on that.

It's good strategy. I like it.

    That was awesome.

    False.

Stevens is a good blocker, but he is a pretty good receiver when given a chance and is fast for a TE.

He meant "fast for an offensive lineman"... since that's all Craig Stevens is.

Key word here is CONDITIONAL 3rd round pick. That is, 3rd round pick if he lights it up for us, or at least starts for the majority of the season. If he is worthy of beating out mcC or ATV then more power to them. If he is a backup, I'm sure it's much less than a 3rd. Conditional picks are always a good deal.

Meh... Finnegan and Samuel are pretty much identical players in coverage. Finnegan is also a 500 times better tackler. It's basically like replacing Finnegan with the same player, paying him the exact same type of money we would of offered Finny and giving up what could end up being a 2nd round pick.

I'd love to have Samuel but I'm just not sure I'm cool with the details when you break it down.

I really don't wanna drudge up the whole Craig Stevens argument again, but he did run a 4.6 before he was drafted.

    Anyways...Asante Samuel...cornerbacks...
