    Mariota throws a lot of short passes in college it was said. Short passes are good when guy is open especially on a blitz. Mett likes the long ball. One reason he gets sacked a lot. Takes more time. But college for mariota is over. Give him a chance to see how he does. It was the system he ran not what he can or can't do.

    Won't even be long. I see Mariota as another Andrew Luck type, will just keep progressing week to week. By his 2nd and 3rd year watch out the Titans are coming.

    My biggest fear for Mariota isn't Mariota, but rather Whiz pulling him out if things aren't going well, say half way through the season. He has a history of churning through QBs, Locker's injuries not withstanding.
