Here are the number one's we have gone up against:

    ..................Rec.....Yds....TD
    L. Coles.........8.......153.....0
    A. Gates........4........55......0
    C. Chambers...4........39......0
    T. Owens.......5........88......0
    M. Harrison.....3........29......1
    S. Moss.........5........50......0
    A. Johnson.....9........78......1
    M. Jones........3........66......0
    D. Mason.......8.........64.....1
    D. Stallworth..4.........75.....0

Before the year if I said we'd hold all these guys under 100 yds and only give up 3 td's--that ain't too shabby is it?? Not only that, but only three of these guys got over 5 receptions. I think Pac's becoming a solid corner on the field.

Pac hasn't covered them all the time either so it would be less then those.

Plus Gates is a TE, he doesnt really count.

  3. yea hill was covering them a lot of the time, so take away 3/4 of all of those and thats what u have for what he did against them

I think most consider Gates SD's premium target (Champ Bailey covered him this week).

He is quickly becoming one of the better corners in the league. If he can only keep himself out of trouble off the field we will have our shutdown corner for years to come.

  7. no, but pacman defended them so well that 3/4 of the completions came when hill did mark them

Fully agreed with those who pointed out Pac did not cover those receivers all the time. I would also point out that with as much zone coverage that has been played, neither Pac nor anyone else should be held directly accountable for any of the numbers in the first post. I would also agree Pac has been doing a fairly good job in coverage.

  10. hes doing really well man on man, like on harrison and TO
